Jean Terrell - No limit 1978

Image
In 1978 Jean signed to A&M and recorded this Lp " I had to fall in love ". But unfortunately A&M plans for her conflicted with her religious beliefs and she quickly left the label, the album doing very little at the time. Fortunately the album came to the fore in the "Rare Groove" revival in the late 80s/early 90s, with two Grey & Hanks written songs. One of them is the modern soul dancer " No limit " (later recorded by Breakwater in the same year) becoming very popular. Produced by Bobby Martin . Philip Bailey

Philip Bailey is one of my favorite singers. His dynamic falsetto has slipped effortlessly among a variety of musical grooves R&B, soul, jazz, funk and more. Apart from EWF, his solo projects have encompassed pop, gospel and contemporary jazz. I chose a great song entitled " I know " which was released as a single (12 incher) in 1983. It was also included on the album entitled " Continuation " in the same year on CBS Records. I know (extended version) 1983
