Front Row - My love my song 1983


I first heard this track about three years ago. Immediately I found it. My friend/collector "John" sent it to me on MP3. However, I bought it on 7-inch. I don't know much info about Front Row. They recorded this track on "To Be Continued Records" in 1983. The flip side is entitled "Wanting you". Also TBC Records released a 12-incher with one more track entitled "You're the one". Produced by Phillip Miller.

My name is Daryl Williams and I wrote My Love My Song in 1983 while I lived in Sacramento California. I'm registered with ASCAP. I own the masters. The label TBC (To Be Continued) owned by Elliot & Jason Blaine released the song. I have a problem with my song being sold for all of these years and I haven't received no residuals from it. I'm glad you like the song. I'm doing research into finding out the way to get my residuals from my songs. Thanks. Daryl Williams

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson.
