Bo Kirkland & Ruth Davis - You're gonna get next to me 1976

Bo Kirkland and Ruth Davis recorded one and only album on Claridge Records in 1976. However Bo and Ruth both sang solo on the same label. Bo recorded 7 inch in 1975 entitled “Grandfather Clock / Sure Got A Thing For You”. Ruth recorded 7 inch in 1978 "Lost In A Love Zone / Heartbreaker".

The album was produced by Bo Kirkland and arranged by Hense Powell. I have chosen a fantastic track entitled "You're gonna get next to me".

Note: The above posted single is not played in full

I use to play this trax years ago when I was working at WTOY Radio in Roanoke and WJJS- fm Lynchburg Va.It was hot in the clubs and everytime I played it-the floor was packed. Bo and Ruth were a great combination and their sound was like listening to two lovers confessing a feeling. This was before Luther mind you. My Album was stolen by my sister who would raid my stash whenever she came home to visit. Someone needs to re-release hat song.....the Quiet Storm Awaits.
