Ray Farr - Keep on believing 1983 Lp


How many people really know this artist ? Probably some old people who lived in the late 70s and early 80s in the USA. He is a great artist who has performed at many major hotels and casinos across the country. He presented his own show in various hotels like the hotel Sands. In fact Ray Farr is an unknown singer. He has sang different styles. He released an album entitled "Keep on believing" in 1983 on 14 KT GOLD Records.


It was recorded at Las Vegas Recording Studios. This album was produced by Nick De Vito original member of the group Four Seasons. Arranged by Wilson "Tex" Richardson. Tex Richardson wrote and co-wrote a few songs of this album. Tex Richardson later appeared as the band leader, arranger, songwriter and singer with the group Station Braake. 

I have chosen two tracks entitled "Too late" and "Let me love you just a little".

I happen to have met Ray Farr in 1984 at a club in Ontario, CA where he was performing every night and I have this LP. I love the album title track "Keep On Believing"! I agree with your comments: he is indeed very talented, has a beautiful voice. I don't know where he is or what he is doing these days but would love to find him!

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson.
