Ron Browning - Music is a lonely life



As I have told you, I collect vinyls which include songs written by H.B.Barnum and Walter Johnson.  A day Walter Johnson brought to my attention the record 45" "Music is a lonely life" by Quinn Coleman. Some days later, I was very lucky and I found the same record on ebay by Ron Browning. It was unbelievable! The original was released by Quinn Coleman in 1983.



Ron Browning is a singer, songwriter, musician and teacher of voice. He is a member of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing, NYSTA, New York Singing Teacher’s Association, and a voting member of The Grammy Foundation® and Country Music Award Association. He grew up in a musical family in the town of Vicco, Kentucky. He played piano in church at the early age. Ron did musical studies at UCLA, California State University at Northridge and the University of Kentucky.
In the 80s, he collaborated with H.B.Barnum. Ron Browning released a single entitled "Music is a lonely life / I hope we meet again next summer" on Vizion Records.





In 2006 Ron Browning released a jazz CD entitled "In A Sentimental Mood".

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson. This production featured Motown-style musical arrangements by Danny Holgate and Horace Ott and direction by Billy Wilson. The show closed on February 13, 1977 after 239 performances and 12 previews.
