It is my honor speaking with you because the song "Ain't no way" is one of my all-time favorite songs. I'm really impressed by the fact that such a great song was recorded the way you described above. However concerning the other "Stallion" from Casablanca, if you want more information, you have to speak with a member of the group, like Buddy Stephens, the lead singer of the band.
I would like to come in contact with you through e-mail (you can see it on my blog), in order to know more things about the band and use them on my article.SoulDennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04725097330093968871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4269691398353219163.post-28565224262801536752014-07-30T03:41:06.165+03:002014-07-30T03:41:06.165+03:00HI SoulDennis,

I also appreciate you didn't send it out in its entirety to those who request it . . . Im glad people like it though.

The band Stallion was an absolute KILLER band . . . great musicians, great singers, and great guys.
We cut this song in about two takes on a saturday afternoon and recorded the vocals that night after our gig. (Started at 2 am) Kim Sturdivant who sang the lead always hated it cause he said he sounded tired . . . but I always liked his approach on the track.

I would be interested to know if the other "Stallion" on Casablanca were signed by Russ Regan when he was there as president. Russ was the person who signed my first band to 20th before he moved over.

Well enough for now . . but thank you for posting the song and all my info . . . very cool . . . and good luck with the blog . . . nice to see someone out there digging deep to find good material.

DMAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02478143109809775104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4269691398353219163.post-8929014727585203092014-07-04T08:34:53.878+03:002014-07-04T08:34:53.878+03:00Hi, first of all thank you very much for your inte...Hi, first of all thank you very much for your interest on my blog. I was with Stallion and we did two albums with Casablanca and after we split up in 1980 some of the guys went to LA and I recorded some vocals with them but none of them got released. The song Ain't No Way is not us, but it is very nice. Good luck to you. You have great taste.
Singing KillerBuddy Stephenshttp://www.yourtune.comnoreply@blogger.com
