Al Matthews - Your affair 1975

Al Matthews (born November 21, 1942) is a UK-based American actor and singer, perhaps best known as Sergeant Apone in the 1986 movie Aliens.
Matthews was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has played various movie roles, including a fire chief in Superman III (1983), General Tudor in The Fifth Element (1997), and Master Sergeant #3 in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). Matthews has also appeared in Grange Hill playng the role of Benny Green's father. He has also worked in British television and theatre, and has worked in radio, both as an actor (on BBC Radio 4) and as a presenter for BBC Radio 1 and Capital Radio.
In 1971 he arrived in the UK, with only a guitar, he worked as a folk singer, and he was introduced to a guy named Pierre Tubbs. In 1975 Pierre wrote a song for him called ‘Fool’, which became a top ten hit in more then fifteen countries in Europe. In the UK Singles Chart, "Fool" reached number 16 in the autumn of that year.
Today I'm presenting another song entitled "Your affair". It was recorded in 1975. It released on CBS records. Composed by Pierre Tubbs. Arranged by Wilf Gibson. Produced by Pierre Tubbs.

He was the first black voice on England’s national station, ‘Radio 1’, he worked for London’s ‘Capital’, for ten years, where he hosted many programs, among then my award winning program, ‘When The Spirit Moves, that show won ‘best gospel music’ program six years running.
