Freedom Express - Stolen pleasures 1982

Freedom Express was an obscure soul group from Memphis. Some members of the group were Charles Brown, David Brewer, Reginal Brown and Archie Love. In the 70s Archie Love moved to Memphis and formed his own band "Freedom Express". In 1981 they released 7 incher entitled "Stolen pleasures" which is one of the best ballads in the history of soul. It was released on Spirit Records a local Memphis label.
Next year Freedom Express re-released the same single on Frills Records from Philadelphia as 7 incher and 12 incher. The 7 incher is ultra rare.
Produced by Otho Sawyer and Freedom Express.

Archie Love later recorded with the group “The Main Attraction”, which was signed by RCA records and released one album. In The Main Attraction Archie was a co-lead with Eric Shotwell. Tony DeCarlos Black was a keyboard player. The group was then signed to Motown and changed their name to The Right Choice (Archie, Eric and Tony) for one self-titled album.

Not to be confused with the group Freedom Express which recorded one album called "Easy ridin" in 1970.
