Henry Turner's Crystal Band - Giving My Love Up To You




Milwaukee-based label Lotus Land released a 7 incher entitled “Giving My Love Up To You / Music” by Henry Turner's Crystal Band. Both of these songs previously were unreleased. Henry Turner had recorded these songs that he had forgotten in a cassette tape. Henry Turner has recorded different styles in his career such as smooth soul, funk and reggae. Today he has formed another band called Henry Turner Jr & Flavor.
Crystal band was the first band of Henry Turner in the early 80s. The band also released under the name Crystal a single entitled “Forever us / Once again” on Hit City records from Baton Rouge in 1984. This single became sought after between the collectors.

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson.
