Chuck Cissel - If I had the chance 1982 Lp

Charles "Chuck" Cissel is an American singer and dancer. Cissel was a musical child prodigy in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. In his 20s he moved to New York and became a fixture on Broadway, most notably in the long running musical, A Chorus Line. He was later signed by Larkin Arnold to a recording contract with Arista Records, which at that time was not known as a home for soul artists.
In 1979 Cissel recorded 1st album entitled “Just for you” 1980 R&B#39, with Skip Scarborough and David Crawford on production. Three years later Cissel recorded 2nd album entitled “If I had The Chance”, but this time without having the success of the 1st album. However most of the musicians are great. Paul Jackson Jr, David T. Walker, Wali Ali and Marlo Henderson on guitar, Donald Griffin , James Jamerson and Nathan East on bass, John Barnes and Benjamin Wright Jr on keyboards, Paulinho Da Costa and Jimy Maelen on percussion. Gerald Albright on saxophone, Raymond L.Brown on trumpet, Ed Greene on drums. Marva King vocal on "If I had The Chance" duet with Cissel. Produced by John Barnes, Benjamin Wright Jr and Kenny Nolan.

I have chosen two tracks entitled "Night Miracles" and "All I see is you".

He continued, however, to provide backing vocals on other artists' albums. Cissel later became the Chief Executive Officer of the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, located in Tulsa. In 2003, he recorded an album of classic jazz standards.
