Major Harris - The Game



There is no need to present Major Harris, because most of Soul music lovers know him quite well.
It is worthy to note that this single is ultra rare. I have never seen this 45” before. It was released on Renaissance Recording in the early 80s. However this single is included on the album entitled "I believe in love" in 1984 on Society Hill Records with a different title. It was included as "Through it all (the game)".

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. I bought this 12" for 11 pounds in 1996 from England. However, I was wrong about it. In fact, I wanted to buy Arnie's Love . I got lucky. After 12 years I sold it for over 300$. It was recorded and released probably in 1980 on TAP Records. Arranged by Nathaniel Yisrael , David Parker and Arnie Love. Produced by Nathaniel Yisrael. Ceasar Elloie - New Orleans to Paris 2010

Wow!!! Ladies and gentlemen, today I'm presenting one of the best albums in 2010. I decided to present this album because in a few days the year will finish. In this way I want to honour this artist and his great album. Ceasar Elloie is the "Caesar" of soul and jazz music with a great deep-voice. He was born in 1953 and raised in the city of New Orleans. As a young kid his favorite toy was his voice. Later around at the age of 14, he discovered that his mother was a clone of Aretha Franklin as she kept music playing at all times in their home. They mostly listened to Johnny Mathis, Lou Rawls, Nancy Wilson, Dionne Warwick, Otis Redding, James Brown and just everybody whose music was out there. He began to sing Mardi Grass Indian songs on street corners with the fellows. These were known as chants. As he entered High School, he was invited to sing with his first Band.
