The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). The Murder of Eddie Jefferson in 1979

Hello my friends, as a fan of Eddie Jefferson I decided to make an article about his murder in 1979. Eddie Jefferson was one of the most innovative singers of jazz music. The saxophonist Richie Cole and Eddie Jefferson had created a great friendship and partnership from the mid 70s. It was one night in early 1976, when alto saxophonist Richie Cole and vocalist Eddie Jefferson were both participants in the same New York City gig. Despite there was a big age gap between Eddie and Richie, they found a deep musical chemistry. For about 4 years, they were touring as a pair around the states with a minivan, playing just about everywhere until 1979. On the 9th of May 1979,  Eddie Jefferson was shot dead in the streets of Detroit. After completing his live performance at Baker's Keyboard Lounge, he left the venue with his road manager and a female friend. John Rowles - Rhythm of the city 1980

Although my article is about John Rowles and the album " Rhythm of the city ", I must mention some words about my favorite composers, H.B.Barnum and Walter Johnson . Since a long time ago, I have been collecting vinyls which include songs that were written by H.B.Barnum and Walter Johnson. Some of them are O.C.Smith album of 1982, Louis Dyer 45" ,  Waymond Hall 45" , Maurice Davis 45" and John Rowles album of 1980. Of course there are more records either rare or not  in which H.B.Barnum and Walter Johnson are composers. John Rowles was born on 26th March 1947 in Whatakane and raised in Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty. He started to sing at the age of ten years old. At the age of 16 years old, he started to play guitar at a club.  John's first release as a solo singer was released in 1966. Later he tried to enter in the British market.
