Rodney Friend & Friends - Call him jesus 1980 Lp

Rodney Friend was raised in the church and his musical roots are firmly anchored in Gospel. Rodney is a graduate with a B.A. in Music Performance, a songwriter, singer and musician. Rodney has worked with and written for artist such as Phil Nicholas (was member of the group Nicholas in 1983), William Wells, Vernessa Mitchell, Natalie Cole, Sandy Patti, Darryl Coley, Darren Rhodes and Crystal Lewis.
Rodney Friend was nominated for both Grammy and Stellar Awards in 1986.

In 1980 he released gospel album entitled "Call him jesus" on Pandora Records. Probably his first album. It was recorded at Sound Off Studio Compton, California.

Participated on the album Vernessa Mitchell and Donny McCullough on vocals. Arrangements by himself. Produced by J.E. Lauderdale.
I have chosen a track entitled "Glory to god".

I want to mention that he previously appeared on the William Wells' album "Blues Boy" in 1979 as a pianist and organist.

Note: The above posted tracks are not played in full
