Tim Stevens - Got to be free 1981 Lp
Three months ago, July 30, I had presented a single by Tim Stevens entitled "Are you the one", that wasn't included on the album in 1981. Now I have the pleasure of presenting the album entitled "Got to be free" on Pittsburgh International Records.
It was recorded at Melwood Recording Studio. Arranged by "Doctor" Leonard Johnson II, Tim Stevens and The High Energy Band. The High Energy Band were Tony T.C.Crunkleton on guitar, Larry "The Funk Master" Estes on bass and guitar, "Doctor" Leonard Johnson III on piano and Ray Scott on drums.
Also some artists were Kenny Blake sax on "Blue Monday", Chuck Austin flugelhorn on "It's friday again". Ronnie Cockran and Ronnie Jones on guitars, Ron Fudoli and Milton Leonard on bass, Nelson Harrison on trompone, Clarence Oden on sax. Lydia Budd, The Budd Sisters, Samson & Delilah, Penny & Crystal Wilson, Karen Simpson and Penny Turner on vocals. Produced by Tim Stevens and Gene Stevens.
I chose two tracks entitled "You are my music" and "Blue Monday".
