Leo Robinson was born in Arkansas, USA and his other name is J.J. Jackson. He moved to Brazil in 1980 and lived there for many years using that name. He released a single entitled " Out off common / To my hearth " in 1981 on Star Music, in a small indie label of Sao Pablo, Brazil. I chose to present the song " To my hearth ". Composed by himself. This song was included on original International Soundtrack entitled " Jogo da vida " in 1981-82 which released by Som Livre in January of 1982. For more info about J.J. The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition, it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Hello my friends, as a fan of Eddie Jefferson I decided to make an article about his murder in 1979. Eddie Jefferson was one of the most innovative singers of jazz music. The saxophonist Richie Cole and Eddie Jefferson had created a great friendship and partnership from the mid 70s. It was one night in early 1976, when alto saxophonist Richie Cole and vocalist Eddie Jefferson were both participants in the same New York City gig. Despite there was a big age gap between Eddie and Richie, they found a deep musical chemistry. For about 4 years, they were touring as a pair around the states with a minivan, playing just about everywhere until 1979. On the 9th of May 1979, Eddie Jefferson was shot dead in the streets of Detroit. After completing his live performance at Baker's Keyboard Lounge, he left the venue with his road manager and a female friend.
