Valora (Boot) Johnson - Come In From The Rain 1977

Image
This record 45" was unknown to me until I found it. It was released on AMG Records from Cincinnati, Ohio. It is worthy to note that the web site Ohio Soul Recordings does not mention anything about it. I don't mean that it is an extremerly rare record 45" but sure it is hard to find it. As far as Valora (Boot) Johnson, I have never seen her or read anything about her. She recorded two songs which were included on the single on AMG Records. The A side includes the song " Come In From The Rain " which was written in 1975 by Melissa Manchester and Carole Bayer Sager and recorded by Melissa Manchester . Melissa Manchester's version is a ballad. However the version of Valora Johnson is a disco tune. The other side includes a ballad entitled " This Time May Be The Last Time ".
