Hello my friends, sadly I will not present my show tomorrow on the web radio Coni-OnAir . For this reason, I decided to present you a song which I think is one of the best songs that Solomon Burke has ever recorded. I'm talking about the song " You And Your Baby Blues ". It was composed by Jerry Styner and Solomon wrote the lyrics. It was released as a 45 in the late of 1974 on Chess Records and in 1975 reached at #19 on the R&B charts on Billboard. It was also included on the album " Music To Make Love By ". The album reached at #54 on the R&B charts on billboard. The album also includes the long version of the song " You And Your Baby Blues ".  Originally the song was released under the name " Baby Blues ". Totally, the album includes some very nice songs. He recorded and released two albums on Chess Records. My copy mentions that release in 1975.

It was a pretty nice surprise when I learned about this release last August. Rena Scott, native from Detroit, started singing in church at an early age. Later she performed in her first talent show at the age of 13 years old. She became known in 1978 with the smash hit " Take Me I'm Yours ", a duet with Michael Henderson. This song was included on the album of Michael Henderson entitled " In The Night-Time ". The same year she collaborated with the famous group The Dramatics. She also made another duet with the singer Ronnie McNeir. They recorded the song " A Different Kind Of Love " that was released as a single on Tortoise International. A year later in 1979, she collaborated with James Mtume & Reggie Lucas who made hits at the same time with Stephannie Mills and Phyllis Hyman. Rena released an album entitled " Come On Inside ". Hello my friends, I had the pleasure to present this vinyl record on my show  about 7 months ago . Fantastic vinyl. At that time I had played the song " Let Me Get Close To You ". This Sunday, I decided to present the flip-side on my show . This track is entitled " I've Been Searching ". In 1974 Willie Daniels joined the group Persuasions as replaced Jayotis Washington. In 1977, Washington returned and replaced Willie Daniels. In 1982, Daniels released this vinyl record on Dan-Lo Production. He collaborated with the saxophonist George Bussey . George Bussey was co-producer and arranger. Tune in on Sunday in order to enjoy the song " I've Been Searching ". Hello my friends, I'm so excited to make this article. About 12 days ago I had the pleasure to present on my show the brand new album called " Colors " by the Italian guitarist, composer and arranger, Roberto Tola . In 2017 he left his footprint in the industry of music with the awarded and successful album " Bein Green ".  Roberto collaborated on that album with some great musicians, such as the saxophonists Bob Mintzer and Najee , the trumpeter Bill McGee , the vibraphonist Tim Collins and with two members from the well-known british group Shakatak . I'm talking to you about the pianist Bill Sharpe and the vocalist Jill Saward . The album was great and was soon known to the world. All the radios around the world were constantly playing the tracks from that album. Of course, the song " Sunny Morning " stood out. It was an amazing song that was written and arranged by Roberto himself. Jill Saward on vocals. It soon reached #No1 on the charts in

Hello my friends, it was announced a few days ago that the saxophonist Richie Cole passed away at his home. He was 72 years old. His daughter Annie Cole said he died in his sleep due to natural causes. He was born on February 29th, 1948 in Trenton, New Jersey. He encountered jazz music at an early age because his father was owner of two jazz clubs. He grew up hearing jazz music at both clubs. He received his first saxophone at the age of ten when someone left it at his father's Harlerm club. At this time he started playing saxophone. At 16, he attended a music camp directed by the legendary saxophonist, Phil Woods.  Phil would go on to be a lifelong mentor of Richie Cole. Generally influenced by Sonny Rollins and Charlie Parker. In 1969 he joined the Budy Rich Big Band replacing Art Pepper on alto sax. Later he spent time in the Lionel Hampton Orchestra and the Doc Severinsen Big Band until the mid 70's.
