Noel Fleetwood & Rita Van Robinson - Lovin' you comes natural 1983


Noel Fleetwood & Rita Van Robinson are unknown singers without any success. However Noel and Rita released a jazz/soul album in 1983. The album entitled "Lovin'you comes natural" was released on Peach Town Records. It was recorded at Master Sound Studios, Atlanta, Georgia.


I want to note that I bought this album a year ago without having heard any sample. I simply followed my feeling.
The album was produced under the direction of Bill Freeman. Bill Freeman was also arranger and co-songwriter on the album. I have chosen two tracks entitled "Don't shut me out" and "Hurricane". Both of these songs were written by Bill Freeman and Deborah Cruse.





It is worthy to note that "Don't shut me out" and "Hurricane" were released as a single in the same year on the same label.

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson.
