Spellbound - Gonna keep on lovin you 1984

Image
I discovered it about four months ago. Spellbound was an obscure funk group who released one and only album on Heat records from Ohio in 1985. However this single entitled " Gonna keep on lovin' you " wasn't included on the album. It was released on the same label in 1984. Mike Calhoun songwriter, guitarist, singer, founding member of the group Kinsman Dazz later Dazz Band collaborated with Spellbound and released this single. Mike Calhoun was composer and producer. One year later Joe Bendo, Tim LaRose and George Cappellini helped Mike to sign a deal along with lead singer Juan Lively forming the group Voyeur. Mike & Ike Wiley (from the Dazz Band) joined him on the album. They re-recorded this song, the lyrics were changed slightly and included it on the album under the title " Keep on lovin you ". Note: The above posted single is not played in full Ah, something else. Where are all those radio-producers and DJs from England who thin

Shae΄ Devlin - The love in me 1978 (45)

Shae΄ Devlin was born in 1949. His real name is Thomas L.Devlin. He released an obscure, ultra rare vinyl 45 on Sha' Fue Records in 1978. This single was included on the self-titled album of 1981. The album was released under the title " Something to say ". This album was sold in Japan for over 1000$. In 2010, it was sold on eBay for about $180. Composed by himself. Produced by Mike Bennett and Dave Wilson. I want to note that the same song " The Love In Me " was also released on vinyl 45 on Virtue Production. It was a label from Philadelphia. On that release it is mentioned that George Bussey Jr was an arranger. On both releases the song sounds the same. Note: The above posted single is not played in full
