Hello my friends, today I will have the pleasure to present you a tribute to James Mtume who passed away a few days ago. He was a great composer, songwriter and producer. He was also a nice percussionist. He started playing percussion in the early 70s next to the legendary trumpeter Miles Davis. Then he stood out for his ability as arranger, producer and composer in the Soul and Disco music scenes. My tribute will take place on the second hour of my broadcast.
