Carmen Amez - The River Must Flow



Carmen Amez became more known with the song "Never gonna fall in love again" which was included on the compilation entitled "The Real Sound of Chicago". In fact this song was released on Elsa Rella Records. The flip side is a wonderful "Love the day way". Also "Never gonna fall in love again" was released as a 12 incher on Elsa Records.
Carmen released and other rare singles such as "Slow down / Tonight" on Rella Records in 1979 and "The river must flow / Can't get you out of my mind" on Elsa Rella Records.


"The river must flow" was written by Gino Vannelli and released on his album in 1978 entitled "Brother to brother" on A&M Records. However the version of Carmen Amez is very good. Arranged by Bob Jenkins and Cliff Colnut. Produced by Elsa Rivera and Bob DiBenedetto.

The Muglestons - The Muglestons 1977 Lp

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson. This production featured Motown-style musical arrangements by Danny Holgate and Horace Ott and direction by Billy Wilson. The show closed on February 13, 1977 after 239 performances and 12 previews.
