"Destiny"
Today many people know the song "Destiny" from the group Woods Empire. This song was included on the album "Universal love" in 1981 on Tabu Records. It was released as a single "Universal Love / Destiny". Also it was released as a single (stereo/mono) on the same label. Produced by David N.Crawford.
However, how many people really know that the original recording was by the American country/pop group "The Exile" in 1979 ? The song was written by James P.Pennington and Linda Lee Lawley.
The Band released an album entitled "All there is" in 1979 on Warner Bros Records and "Destiny" was included on the album.

Today I want to present another version and more rare of "Destiny" by Loyal Garner from Hawaii. Loyal Garner (born 1946) the "Lady of love" of Hawaii was de facto leader of the four Local Divas. She got her nickname when she played host to the Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon years ago. She was twice honored as the "Na Hoku Hanohano" female vocalist of the year in 1982 and 1993 respectively.
Sadly Loyal E. Garner died on November 15, 2001, at the age of 55.
