Wayne Newton - Night Eagle 1 1980 Lp
I decided to present this album, because many people don't know it and everyone can find it on shops without spending much money.
Wayne Newton the one and only, the "King of Las Vegas". He performed over 30,000 solo shows in Las Vegas over a period of 40 years. I need many pages to present him completely. He has released many singles and albums in his career. He is not a soul singer. However in the late 70s, he followed the current of time. In 1980 he released an album entitled "Night Eagle 1" which was released on Aries Records. It was recorded at Crimson Sound Studios, Santa Monica, California.
In this album some great musicians participated such as Richard Tee on piano, Ed Greene on drums, Mike Boddicker on synthesizer, Victor Feldman on percussion, Tom Scott on sax, Chuck Findley on trumpet. Arranged by Eddie Karam, Jim Hughart and Don Vincent. Produced by Robert Cullen and Wayne Newton.
I have chosen three (3) tracks. The first is entitled "Don't make it better" and was written by Bill Withers. Bill Withers had recorded this song for the album in 1978 called "Bout love".
The second track ,entitled "Love Nights", was written by Ron Roker & Phil Dennys in 1977 for the Pepper in 1978.
The third track is entitled "Rhythm Rhapsody" and became known from Ramona Brooks who released in 1977 as a single.
Note: The above posted tracks are not played in full
