DiDi Anthony - Makin Love 1981


I have the pleasure to present an extremerly rare record 45". It was released on Starborn Records in 1981. Three years ago, I had the opportunity to present another rare record 45" on the same label by Robert Jason. DiDi Anthony is an unknown singer. I tried to find information for DiDi Anthony but it was very difficult.  As it seems, she collaborated with Robert Jason and Brian Ross.  Robert Jason was co-writer and arranger. Brian Ross who was also the producer of the Robert Jason record on the same period did the production. The vinyl includes two songs entitled "Makin Love / Cry Like A Baby".
I have chosen a great mellow song entitled "Makin Love". The lyrics were penned by Lorri Marlow and the music by Robert Jason.

The Muglestons - The Muglestons 1977 Lp

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). Sir James Randolph - The Sophisticated Funk of James Randolph 1981 Lp

Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson. This production featured Motown-style musical arrangements by Danny Holgate and Horace Ott and direction by Billy Wilson. The show closed on February 13, 1977 after 239 performances and 12 previews.
