This is the first broadcast of the new year. I wish you a Happy New Year with health and happiness. For tomorrow Sunday, due to the death of the well-known composer Allee Willis, I will have the pleasure to present you some songs from her great career. She was songwriter and art director. She has written some famous songs for Earth Wind & Fire like "September", "Boogie Wonderland". She was nominated for an Emmy Award for "I'll Be There For You", which was used as the theme song for the sitcom Friends. She has also written songs for artists such as, Herbie Hancock, Deniece Williams, Diana Ross, Sisters Sledge, David Lasley, Narada Michael Walden, Debby Boone, Lani Hall, Rockie Robbins and many others. I have also chosen some songs from my personal vinyl collection. I'll be glad to see you on air. My show starts 8pm to 10pm (GMT+2).

The Muglestons was a five-member family group which appeared in various places with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Henry, Judy Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Bob Hope and Charlie Rich. It has also appeared on the " Merv Griffin Show ". In addition,  it was possibly one of the first musical groups to perform on Dick Clark's " American Bandstand " without a recording. The group has started singing together since the late 60s. They consisted by the brothers and sister  Bob , Blaine , Troy , Lance and Desiree . In the mid 70s the group signed with the Mike Curb's label, called AOA. In 1977 the group released an album on ECI (Entertainment Consultants International). This album was the second album from the Mugleston Family. The group sold nearly 2000 copies. The album was produced by Darwin Lamm. Arranged by Ken Harrison. Vocal arranged by Desiree Mugleston. Sir James Randolph was born in Brewton Alabama. After leaving Alabama, he moved to New York where he attended and graduated from Long Island University. He started to sing in night clubs throughout the city. Then he was involved into Theater, Television & Film. Performing in Las Vegas and around the world, Sir James Randolph has become one of the most celebrated performers. Sir James Randolph made his only Broadway appearance as Sky Masterson in the 1976 all black company of " Guys and Dolls "   along   with   Robert Guillaume as Nathan Detroit,   Norma Donaldson as Miss Adelaide ,  Ernestine Jackson as Sarah Brown." Guys and Dolls " is a musical and was directed and choreographed by Billy Wilson. This production featured Motown-style musical arrangements by Danny Holgate and Horace Ott and direction by Billy Wilson. The show closed on February 13, 1977 after 239 performances and 12 previews.
