Roy Ally - You've been Good To Me/Love Fire Burns 1977 (45)

Hello my friends, some weeks ago I had the chance to play a rare vinyl 45 on my show. I'm talking to you about a 45 of Roy Ally. Roy Ally is an unknown singer probably from Canada. There are no information about him. This obscure 45 includes two songs. On the A side excists the song "Love (You've Been Good To Me)". On the other side excists the song "Love Fire Burns". Both songs were written by Roy Ally himself.

The record was released in 1977 on Periwinkle Records. Owner on that label was Art Snider who was arranger and producer with Roy Ally on both songs. The label Periwinkle was formed in 1973 as a flagship label for his Sound Canada Recording Centre studio.

A few words about Art Snider or Arthur Sniderman. He was a pianist, arranger, and producer from Ottawa, Canada. He established and operated Çhateau Records from 1956 to 1961. He later established and 1967-81 operated Sound Canada. It is a studio that produced recordings for various companies, including the label Periwinkle.

So, here below you can listen a sample of the song "Love (You've Been Good To Me)" during on my show from the studio of Coni-OnAir. The other song is a beautiful track and has a big influence from disco music scene.
