True Image - Different kind of love 1980 (45)

True Image was an obscure soul group from Alabama. Clarence Mann was the band leader as singer. The group formed in 1977 by James Terry who was also their manager. They released a few rare singles for the labels Flower's Records, Super Smash, T.K, Glades, Juana and Wilkerr records. The single "Come What May" was their first recording effort. In 1980 they released a record 45. It includes the great dance song "Different kind of love" and was released on Juana records. Produced by Frederick Knight. Original recording by Ronnie McNeir and Rena Scott in 1978 on Tortoise International. This track was also included on Clarence Mann's album in 1983 on Spirit Inc records.

True Image probably recorded an album in 1981 on Juana records but it was never released.
