Brenda Holloway - Brand New 1980 Lp

Brenda Holloway (born June 21, 1946, Atascadero, California, United States) is an American singer and songwriter, best known as a recording artist for the Motown Records label during the 1960s. Her most well-known recordings are the soul hits, "Every Little Bit Hurts" and "You've Made Me So Very Happy." The latter was later widely popularized when it became a Top Ten hit for the band, Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Holloway married a pastor and left the music industry to become a housewife. During this period, she occasionally sang with her sister Patrice. In 1980, Holloway returned to music and recorded gospel album entitled “Brand New”.
It was recorded at Studio Masters and released on Birthright Records. The musicians were Dean Gant on piano, Kenni Burke on bass, Gregg Poree & Dennis Burke on guitars, Chester Thompson on drums. Background vocals by Deidra Burke, Terry Askey, Penny Wonza, Gail Lampert, Ivory Hudson, Tom Austin, Donald Boyette and Greg Robertson. Produced and arranged by Gil Askey.
I chose a great mid-tempo track entitled "Giving Love".

I want to note that "Giving Love" was released as a single on Birthright Records in the same year.

Note: The above posted track is not played in full
